False Representation

Internet & Web

The following is a copy of the last e-mail sent to the corporate headquarters of Together Christian.com i.E. Love Access.com:

It now appears that I have been lied to and deceitfully mis-led by TOGETHERCHRISTIAN.com. Since you are the company that appeared on the charge, I want to see if you are willing to resolve the complaint before I take this any further. Summary: My membership had previously expired, however, on March 11th, I receivedd an e-mail from your Christian organization stating I had six (6) mail messages from premium members in my 'inbox'. (see below) From: TogetherChristian.com [mailto:*@TogetherChristian.com]Sent: Thursday, March 11 9:07 AMTo: Hamel, CarleenSubject: * You have 6 messages from premium members Dear *, You have 6 mail messages sent by premium members at http://www.togetherchristian.com / waiting for you in your email box. - - - - - - - - - - - - -The e-mail informed me I could read these at no cost. There were no e-mails there... This was extremely misleading. Because I did not see e-mails, I honestly/naively believed I would have to rejoin again in order to read what you told me was in my mail box. As a result, I paid the $29.95 to access the information. There were no email messages in my inbox. Apparently I was scammed by a Christian dating service???!!! Are you kidding me???!!! I'm very disheartened that first, this 'ministry' site would send me an e-mail stating I had six messages in my inbox when there was no such thing. Secondly, I have left four phone messages that have yet to be returned, nor have my half dozen e-mails been responded to either. As a matter of good faith, I am respectfully requesting a full refund of the $29.95 I paid in order to read what was stated in writing to me by your Christian site, as well as a complete cancellation of my account and removal of my profile with your organization. As a Christian site, Im expecting you to honor this request in good faith due to the deceptive information you have given me. I have been very patient in awaiting resolution to this matter to no avail. I trust you will respond with immediate corrective action to my account to avoid further steps to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Complaints etc. Over the internet. I don't want to see a Christian site flagged on the world wide web as deceptive and mis-leading. Sadly disappointed, Carleen — I have been contacting this organization for two weeks through phone calls (no one answers; automated system, and they don't return my calls), nor have they responded to my half dozen e-mails to rectify this deception on their part in order to avoid me doing just what I'm doing now. Going public with a complaint about a "Christian Online Dating Service"

This site is a joke and no serious Christian should waste their money there. I have no idea how they received 'endorsements' from similar Christian sites! Houston, Texas
