Purchase from DiscountBookSale.com leads to an undisclosed membership in Best Brand Values with monthly processing and membership fees. No disclosure on the DiscountBookSale.com web site provides any notice to the consumer that the purchase of a book will lead to a membership in BBV. The affiliation is not disclosed and is false, deceptive and misleading in that the consumer is never permitted to make an informed choice about the membership fees or monthly obligations. When you contact them they ask if "you can read?" Nothing is available on the DBS web site providing disclosure of a purchase including a monthly membership fee. If you don't start out at the BBV web site you never are put on notice that there is a membership tied to the DiscountBookSale.com purchase. I have gone through all of the help and FAQ screens on DiscountBookSale.com and NONE reference BBV or a membership obligation at any point. The State of Florida needs to take action against DBS and BBV for this predatory action against unsuspecting consumers who simply think they are purchasing a book at a discounted price.
