We have conducted our business correspondence on AOL for over 14 yrs as PAYING customers! Recently, we found we could not sign in. After calling "customer service" we were told our account had been "closed for violations", and that our "recourse" was to SEND A LETTER (send a letter???) to an address in VA. And wait 10-15 days for them to contact us! We sent a letter -paid express mail, signature required - 5 days ago and have heard nothing. Attempts to contact any viable person (i.E., legal dept.) have been unsuccesful as we are told to "write a letter". Meanwhile, we are missing business correspondence and feel totally frustrated, mistreated, and cheated. IF there was some violation, shouldn't we know about it??? IF we have been victims of identity theft or spam, shouldn't we be informed??? I am LIVID!!! Livid! We are only waiting to transfer all of our contact info. To a new service. What a travesty... We are considering legal action.
