Work at Home? Free Training? I highly doubt it!

I was not ripped off or scammed by this company, but had them approach a friend of mine online.
I have 15 (almost 16) years of transcription experience and when "chatting" with the recruiter, I tried to ask "common knowledge" questions that any recruiter would have the answers to. However, several of my questions, the recruiter could not answer.
Don't let these people fool you into believing that with "little" or "no" training you can immediately work at home. Omg... 495$ for the software? Just remember any reputable transcription company will provide you with transcription software FREE OF CHARGE.
I learned how to transcribe in a 6-month long medical assistant program. However, sometimes you have to pay your dues and get some experience under your belt before you can work from home. However, when you apply, you will be tested and the test will address whether or not you have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, etc.
Just beware... If its too good to be true (and you have to pay for it) then it probably isn't true.
