Hostopia Charged me for future services five days after I canceled the account

I experienced nine years of fine web hosting service from aplus.net. Recently they were purchased by hostopia and decided to "upgrade" their systems.in their upgrade they so modified my website as to make it and my emails unusable. I received such poor response to my requests for support that I decided to change to a new host for my websites.

I informed aplus.net through one of their on-line forms that I was terminating my association with them and to please refund any monies they may have.in response I received a note from technical support telling me to send an email to their billing department. On 10/05/09 I sent the billing department a notice of cancellation. I received no response. On 10/10/09 I received notice from Aplus.net that they have taken an additional $58.86 from my credit card for the period beginning 10/10/09. I have requested that the money be repaid immediately but have received no reply.
