Blue Mountain Online Greeting Cards
Deceptive practice during trial membership sign-up

Internet & Web

Stay miles away from this company. Do an Internet (Google) search and you will see many examples of their deceptive practices and astonishlingly poor customer service.

Be aware when you sign up for a e-card trial membership, and provide your credit card information, you are also sigining up for a "create and print" membership that will be auto-renewed yearly. This is not made clear during the "trial membership" sign up process, and the details are buried in terms of service.

Again, this information is not provided anywhere in a clear manner and is an obvious deceptive practice to take your money for a service essentially unrelated to the service you are signing up for, and a service that is not a trial service.

There are plenty of high-quality, free e-card services. I unfortunately did not discover this until it was too late.

Summary: DO NOT sign up for a "free trial membership" from this company, you will be billed anyway for a different service.
