Ripoff

I ordered the Cyberdective program thinking that it was going to be useful only for it to tell me how to get the information that I could get from a phonebook.

I sent them an email telling them that I wasn't able to get any information that I needed and they wrote me back stating that they would upgrade my program, all I needed was to have my serial number. But I couldn't find out how to get the serial number, so I sent them another email asking for my serial number.

They told me that they didn't know what my serial number was and that that I would have to ask the reseller that I bought the program through. When I researched that I found that I purchased the program straight from Cyberdetective.

Once I found that out, I sent them yet another email telling them that I wasn't satisfied with the service and that if I couldn't upgrade my program that I wanted my money back.

The email that I received back from them was from the corporate office and they stated that if I wanted a refund I would have to contact the reseller.

It also said nothing about them upgrading the cyberdetective program. They said that they do not "directly receive the funds from my sale" and that only the reseller is in charge of getting my refund. Well, that doesn't make sense to me. Why would a company let someone sell their product if they weren't going to get any of the profit. If they know that there are disatisfied customers, why not contact the reseller?

I've been fighting with the cyberdetective for almost a month and I wrote this complaint so that everyone who has been ripped off by these low down jerks can band together and get them!
