Bogus contest deceitful opt in

When you go to TigerDiect.com website (as I did today, 8-3-09) you get a pop up for a contest that asks for your e-mail, name and zip code:

Note that in the link, there is no info about you opting into any e-mail, any expiration dates nor any rules link.

When you enter the info, you are taken to a landing page that says that the contest is well expired (expired Juny 11)

HOWEVER, they send you an e-mail that says to complete your entry you must click on a link. No where in that e-mail does it say that you are signing up for any spam mail.
