Theft of my money - reps don't give out last names for fear of prosecution

Internet & Web

One hundred eighty dollars later and a canceled debit card and maybe my daughter (me) won't lose any more money.

Paid for their trial offer and canceled as soon as it came in. The Representative stated that the subscription had been canceled. A couple weeks later more came in and again another call - we were told the charges would be removed.

Got the bank statement and it was loaded with charges, so we had no choice but to cancel the debit card. We again called and the agent who refused to give her last name said that the only way legally we could get a refund was to reopen the same account so she could give us our money back (don't know of any such laws).

I will now approach the bank with the editors suggestions. Our family had 3 cards attacked on similar type scams and only one bank provided and filled out the forms required to get my money back. I will update with results and report the banks if it doesn't work.
