My partner bought me a bike for my birthday. On April 29th he placed the order with J-Variety. The bike arrive and the front of the frame was welded incorrectly, the front tire could not go on it. I email and called... No word for 2 weeks.
Their voicemail box is alway "full".

They told us to take a photo to process the RMA number. We took and sent photos that evening. An RMA number was issued (that also took 9 days to do).
We were told we had to pay for shipping to send the frame back. Reluctantly, we did.
The bike was received by Yu on 6/12.

We left follow up email and telephone calls to their ebay site, and regular email. No word.
Finally, after 20 days, I sent an email and left a message asking for a refund.
28 days later, we get a call.

"Johnny" explained that he told us to send only the fork of the bike back, so if we wanted the bike back we would have to pay for shipping again.

I refused explaining that we did what was asked of us and that they have the bike and our money, so they should either ship the bike or refund the money.

"Johnny" complained that I used "profanity"? I do not know what he was talking about.

I explained that their business practices are shoddy and the District Attorney should be notified.

"Johnny" explained that I could threaten him all he wants, there is nothing I can do.

Simply, a scam. They just prey on people getting frustrated and walking away.

I definitely will not walk away, and have started the actions needed. Beginning with their cities Mayor.
