Rip-off, fraudulent billing, stealing money over the internet ripoff business

We had service with this company for several years. Found another company we liked better and our use with this company went down to around $40-$60 dollars per month. This was charged to our credit card.

On our April credit card the charge was $708.03 which should have alerted Search America that something was going on. We called as soon as we got the bill. Search America claimed that someone using our password charged all of these inquiries. We explained that we had not done the inquiries and asked them to investigate. We also wrote our credit card company and told them not to accept another charge from Search America.

We have not yet received our next bill but understand from Search America that the bill is around $800.00 and they have charged this to our credit card.

We have researched the list of ip addresses that were used to run all the charges on our bill and they are not ours. Search America does not dispute that the ip addresses our not ours but looks to us for the money. We contacted the service providers for these ip addresses and they will not give us any information on who has these ip addresses. Search America must ask for the info and they refuse. We cannot get this info and they refuse to assist us in any way.

There is some kind of fraud here and we are left to pay the bill and as long as Search America gets their money from us they have no desire to protect the clients they service. They don't want to know who broke into their system and charged all of these charges.

Businesses like this that want to screw their clients should be put under the gun and made to investigate what happened. They don't want to be bothered. They have their money. This sucks!!!
