Corey And David Scammed out of $89- false advertising on craigslist about homes for rent!

I was searching for houses for rent in several different locations in Illinois on craigslist when I came across many affordable houses in nice areas such as Lansing, Homewood, Tinley Park, etc. From $700-$850 a month w / no credit checks, appliances included, backyards, garages - all the good stuff you want. There were at least 20 different houses in 14 different suburbs.

When you call the number or numbers, you get a publication - Chicagosrentalguide. Some very nice salesmen convince me to come in and pay $89 to get acess to these homes and more via their website. Yet when you go to their website not one of the homes is there. Nothing in some of the areas and nothing in that price range.

So I call to find out what's going on and was given the runaround about how they get new listings each day and the homes on craigslist are in verification and will show up on their site in a few days. Of course they didn't.

Corey and David insist that in my contract it says I will be refunded the $89 in 90 days if I visit the website 60 of these 90 days. Their website is garbage and whenever you are on and trying to look that there is nothing you are interested in, it goes to the 'this page is unavailable message'. Today it won't come up at all.
