Mysterious, non-authorized charges to my bank account Isreal

I noticed mysterious, non-authorized charges on my bank acount, under the name A1 member. The first charge was for $1.99 and the second occured 4 days later for $72.21. I called the number that was associated with A1 Member 866-200-5473 to find out what this charge was for and what services they offered.

The customer service rep. Had a very heavy accent and was difficult to understand. She told me that she represents many internet companies and that A1 is a free trial on google internet. (hmmmm, fishy). Anyway, I never signed up for this or authorized this trial, so I had her cancel my account and I had to convince her to refund my money.

I honesty don't trust that she will do either as it was way too easy for her to do this. So, I contacted my bank in order to get some sound advice and make sure they could not charge my account again. I had to cancel my card and place a fraud claim to ensure this would not happen again.

My bank rep. Told me these charges were coming from Isreal (weird) and a lot of times, fraudulant people will use reputable names (i.E. Target) to charge under. So, you really have to watch your accounts.
