Deceptive company, consumer fraud ripoff

IN late April, I receive a telemarketer call concerning a free 30 day trial for an online service that would support my business with dozens of money saving services. I declined the offer very loudly and told the gentleman to take my number off his list. After expressing my wishes several times, he finally said he would take me off his list.

Today is MAY 5th and I received in the mail a CD from this company with instructions to download, as well as a description of all the things they were going to help me with for the 30-day free trial. Then I would be billed $29.95/mo there after.in the fine print I found a phone number and called it.

Speaking to a Customer Care person, I voiced my dismay at receiving this and told her I wanted to cancel this immediately. She tried to talk me into staying and asked me why I would want to give up such wonderful benefits. I told her again all I wanted to do was CANCEL. So then she said because it was in my husbands name that he was the one would gave permission and he would have to call. I informed her that HE was not the one who received the call and she DID NOT want him on the phone. So she then gave me a cancellation number effective immediately.

Something needs to be done about companies like this! Watch your mail!
