Planejobs.com
Fictitious Jobs and Phishing

Internet & Web

I have used this website for approximately a year now and have strong reason to believe many of the jobs on this site are fictitious or involved in information phishing scams. Having applied to well over a hundred pilot jobs on this site I have received very few emails ever acknowledging reception of my resume/application emails.

Very little contact information exist for most job opportunities listed at www.planejobs.com.in some cases advertisements are only a few words long and similar to vocal grunts like; Captain, North Dakota, Hansa Jet, next month.

In addition I found some of the job advertisements do not correlate to the hiring situation of the actual company listed in the advertisement. This has occurred when a popular charter provider shows up with a job ad on PJ's, and then I contact that charter company directly. The charter provider explains to me they are not hiring for that position, and did not post the ad. Was the ad created out of thin air?

In addition I have received emails from individuals claiming to be from aviation companies I have never applied with. They ask to be sent more personal information.

I have contacted PJ's about such fraudulent issues via email but they do not reply nor indicate they care to address mine or acquaintance's customer issues. Since PJ's reveals miniscule contact information on their website and are silent, I consider the website highly suspect.
