Info US 411
Tried to foist a $400 bill on us... Caught red-handed?

Less than 15 minutes ago, a woman from Info US 411 called my boss claiming that she wanted to check to see if we wanted to renew our SEO (search engine optimization) service with them, and to let us know that we owed them $400 for the year that my boss authorized. Pretty suspicious since:

1) I don't believe in SEO; good companies will rise to the top, especially in our line of work (car repair).
2) I've never heard of the company before.
3) The kicker - my boss doesn't know a thing about the internet.

So he handed the phone to me, and while she was talking I looked up the company on Google. Guess what appeared on the first page? Yep, Maggie's report. As soon as I mentioned that bit, she hung up. Looks like they're a new outfit trying to scam small businesses a few hundred bucks at a time. Watch out!
