Fraudulent Hiring/Pay PHP Programmers BEWARE!

I applied as a freelance PHP programmer with Heritage Web Solutions in November. The company contacted me in December and promised I would have work in January.in Late March the company finally contacted me and presented a contract which promised $48.00/hour for custom programming, which they signed.

After performing several projects, the company then presented by with an offer of $300.00 for over 80 hours of work. After all of my emails were ignored, I received an email to the affect my contract has been terminated. All of the customers I had to deal with were upset and disgusted with this company.

I also saw other postings advertising for a PHP programmers for $20K per year. The average hourly rate for PHP programming is $40-50 hour. This company lies to get people to work on projects, then will terminate your contract after you work for a couple of weeks and not pay you for your work. Their mail system is blacklisted as a SPAMMER so none of their emails seem to get to their customers, or employees.

I found this posting on the Utah PHP Users Group. What they really want to pay is $20,000/year to work in a sweat shop down in Provo. Their "Offices" are in a shopping mail next to an old KMart Store in Provo.
