Fake Money orders to pay/overpay for items for sale on Craig's List Middlesex, Massachusetts Maybe

I listed some furniture for sale on Craig's list. I accepted to do business with a "Mr. Jerry Holbrook" and he offered to mail me money order as payment and then to arrange pickup of the furniture. The money order arrived as 3 money orders, drawn off of Chase Manhattan Bank. He owed me $300.00 and paid me $2550.00. He asked me to send him a Western Union wire to refund his overpayment to a location supposedly in England. The money orders actually arrived postmarked from Middlesex, MA. I knew he was up to no good and talked to the post office and my bank and well, googled his name. If I had put that money into my bank account they would have bounced in a few days and I would be out the money directly and he would have in the mean time received the wired funds.

DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM! OR anyone offering checks or money orders. I talked to the Post office and they have turned it over to the Postal Inspectors. Fat chance of them catching this crook but it is mail fraud since he used the mail to send the fake money orders. I would think the FBI and FTC might take note as well. I did report it to craig's list as well.
