Took identity information for an internet viral business, web site & individual Ron Smith

Internet & Web

I was solicited to join thespiderwebmarketingsystem and after completing the information to link to my social networking, the website disappeared. I could not access it. When I tried contacting the person that sent it, the web address was inactive also. All videos and email to them were erased off my computer. I have not checked with my bank to see if any money is missing as I don't have any information that was legal. The one thing I was concerned with was the personal and business information that may have been violated.

The other thing that is odd, it did have a https address which is why I was not reluctant to give them information. At this point I don't know if it was a hacker stealing identity or if it is money. Fortunately I did not have much left in the account and can cancel my banking account.

If there was money taken, I can report an update. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. At first I thought that since it was a viral type account and a lot of times when something is launched the system crashes due to traffic. (At least that is what some have advised me.)
