Issued bad check. Scammed me on a computer deal. Repaid me with a bad check

William brady is a liar and a cheat. I made contact with william brady at pcmdny@yahoo.com - mr. Brady contacted me by telephone, I met him in person and a computer system was ordered. All details and specifications were listed in writing. Three months later mr. Brady delivered a computer. The computer was one tenth of what was agreed on. Ex: very limited ram, 1.85tb short in hard drive capacity, missing "blueray" drive/burner, power supply-550w short, and a processor that wouldn't power a 2003 vintage laptop. When confronted on these issues, mr. Brady stated, "the friend i had working with me made a mistake and installed all the wrong components". Mr. Brady rebuilt the computer once again installing substandard components and attempted to deliver this computer with one fifth of what was listed on the invoice. I refused delivery. This time william's excuse was to blame the manufacturers of the components stating: "the boxes from the factory all contained the wrong components". After going back and forth with him a few more months, along with hundreds of excuses and lies to include several fake tracking numbers, i demanded my money back. William issued me a check as reimbursment to be drawn from his personal checking account at wachovia bank. I deposited the check in my checking account. Within a week, the check was returned unpaid. Mr. Brady had issued a check on an account that he had closed. Criminal and civil charges are pending.
