Voice mail charges on phone bill from other companies

I was charged on my bill for voice mail services i never ordered from other companies i asked at&t to remove charges and they said they couldnt because they were not the billers but the charges were on their bill and now their charging me late fees because i refuse to pay for something that i never ordered or received.
