Offering a phoney 'Free' trial period before billing, Requiring a credit card for 'shipping & handling'

Like so many others posting reports against Google Money Tree, I was naive enough to allow my credit card number to be used to pay for 'shipping and handling' of a CD that would supposedly help me make all sorts of money on Google.

I never agreed to pay for the program and was supposed to be given a 'FREE' trial period before being charged the cost of the program. My VISA card however, was charged the full amount.

I've filed a claim against the charge and put a freeze on the account while this mess is straightened out. After all, if they'd fraudulently charge my card for the program, there's no telling what other charges could wind up on it.
