I posted my resume on therecruiternetwork.com. The next day I received an e-mail giving details about the company, job qualifications for work at home accountant and said I look like a good match for what they were looking for.

It said my resume was under review and asked me to answer a few questions. It outlined Salary $25 - $30 Hour, Vacation, Bonuses. Said if I were interested that the hiring manager would contact me. I replyed to the e-mail. A short time later I received an e-mail to set up an interview and said to add address to my buddy list so that they could IM me. The next morning I received an IM and the interview started. The person asked all the questions you would be asked at a real intervew. The even e-mailed me an Employment Agreement Letter, W-4, Code of Ethics, and an official Job Offer.

I accepted the job offer @ $25 hour to be paid bi-weekly and started work the following Monday. The first week was a training week, they sent me tasks and instructions that needed to be done by the next morning. The next week they sent me my work load. Friday they said my check was sent via Fed-X. I received the check the following Monday but it was from a different company. I thought that was strange so instead of depositing it into my bank I went to the bank it was written on and they informed me that the check among others was reported stolen.

So, I went home and contacted them to find out what was going on. They were very indignant and said they were going to involve their lawyers. They asked me for the bank contact and I gave it to them. Later that day I called the bank to see if they had had any contact with my employer, they said no. I e-mailed Riverside Consulting Group and I advised them that I wanted my pay via Western Union and they agreed. They said they would get back to me in a short while and they signed off. I have not been able to contact them since. No one from that company has been on line since.
