Alyon (censored) Rip-off download of software Secaucus

I was out on a website and received a pop up to download a dialer. I believe the dialer was downloaded, but once I realized it had hung up my original internet connection and started to dial up, I stopped it and deleted the file associated with this. I shut down my PC. Within a week I received a bill for $250. I sent an email to dispute the amount.

I talked to my wife and son and they stated they connected to the internet, but were not aware of anything different. So I investigated further and found the dialer software loacted again on my desktop. This time I completed unistalled it, restarted and dialer program was still installed. I then used spybot software to remove the software.

Later I received an email stating the company could not dispute anything via email over $100. I argued this and they stated they would block the number and place the account in dispute indefinetely. A month later I received a letter stating they had attempted to contact me several times about the $250.00,

I have caller id and they did not attempt to contact me (no voice mail messages left either) I let it slide thinking it would take a little while to get the information accross there system. On Saturday, March, 8th, I received a collection notice from A.C. A for $320 on behalf of Alyon Technologies.

I sent alyon another email on Monday and they responded, saying I needed to contact the collection agency as my information is no longer available to them. I really do not want to pay this (censored) charge. I will write the collection agency and include the disputed email information.

If that does not resolve this issue I might just dispute it on my credit report.
