Privacy Matters 123 And Classmates.com
Scamme

Internet & Web

I signed up with classmates.com recently. A month later I notice $39 charges on my credit card from a company called privacy matters 123. I'm like WTF is this and who is privacymatters123???

It seems that if you mistakenly click on a banner ad on classmates.com you are authorizing privacymatters to sign you up! Yup, it's that easy. They are partners with classmates.com. It's too bad classmates/com is so frigging greedy that they need to sell its members info to another marketing company. They lost my business forever.

I asked privacymatters how they got my info and this is what they emailed me... Because of these b*rds.

Thank you for your email and I apologize for any confusion.
