Popp-ed up on screen and downloaded to cpu, asked for 49.95 1.50 transaction fee. Had to restart cpu.internet

The pop up came on and said i had so many trojans, worms, and viruses and asked to download. I did, then it asked for the payment and i restarted cpu. Is the virus already in the cpu? I have external harddrive too, i wonder if its in there too?
