Maurice Nash: Alan Web Solutions Ripoff, Scam, down right dirty La Mesa California

This all stated in November. I meet Maurice Nash through one of his relatives. At first he seems like the most honest person on the planet. I explained to him that I owned a business and he proceeded to tell me that he was a great web designer with a degree.

I sat down with him and discussed the website design and a price. He made it seem like he was giving me this really good deal. That same day I gave Maurice Nash a check for half of the agreed amount, the balance due upon completion.

A few days I received a sample site (.jpg of site front page). On paper I designed the site map. I gave Maurice Nash all of the text, forms information and everything he needed to incorporate into my site.

About 3 weeks passed by and I had not seen any of the work that he had completed. He started calling me asking for money and giving me all kind of excuses. I gave this fool more money. Now 3 weeks have turned into 3 months and I still don't have functioning website.

By now I am calling and emailing this guy like crazy. I even drove to the business address and it was a P.O. Box located in a shopping mall. His cell phone, business phone, were all disconnected. I contacted some of the business owners that Maurice claimed to have built their website. Turns out that he ripped them off also, and then took all of the credit for building their website. All of those business owners had to go elsewhere and have someone else complete their site.

I am almost done. Anyway, almost 6 months passed by before I was able to finally contact Maurice and he gave me the User Id and password to the host so I could complete it myself. And not once did he offer to refund me one penny.
