Right Fit Is Definitely Not An Employment Agency

I was browsing through the local job database for an equipment operator position (forklift, reach truck, etc.) when I came across Right Fit. They caught my attention by posting equipment operator as well as general labor positions from fifteen to twenty-five dollars an hour.

I'm not sure about the rest of the country, but those types of jobs in Jacksonville, FL simply don't pay that well on average. Twenty-five dollars an hour for non union semi-skilled work is extremely rare here. After filling out the 'introduce yourself' page, wherein they ask for several personal references, your cell phone number and carrier information, and very little else, you become the victim of several sales pitches - online universities to be exact. I spent less than three hours on line and came across these guys no less than five times, in each subsequent case using a different name.

Aside from the names and numbers of my personal friends and relatives, I don't believe they asked for any sensitive information. It was, however, annoying. I filled out the form once using fake info out of sheer curiosity, without references. I suppose times are hard for everyone, but that's just plain desperate.
