Bob Warren, The Arcaro Group, Tag Leads
Takes your money and delivers NOTHING!

Earlier the year I was introduced to Bob Warren and his companies The Arcaro Group and Tag Leads through a conference call.in that call Bob outlined a program he runs which is a lead generation program. It is designed for someone building a business as a way to have more names and numbers coming to them by replying to internet-based ads on Monster, Career Builder, etc.

Bob outlined the different packages that were available for purchase which were at 3 different levels. The first was a $99 package, the 2nd $199 and the 3rd was for $299 per month. I opted for the $299 package. Now here is what that was supposed to entail (according to Bob).

First of all, the leads were supposed to be geographically targeted to two or three areas that you could pick. The particular package I purchased was supposed to include 65 leads per week. That would of course average out to approximately 260 per month based on just a 28 day, 4 week month. All of this can be seen on the website www.tagleads.com where you will also see the 100% guarantee!

Well here is my guarantee to you. If you deal with this low-life Bob Warren you will be guaranteed to be disappointed and/or screwed.

After I signed up here is what happened. I will also note that I can document any of what I am about to type here in case Bob Warren or anyone from The Arcaro Group would like to show up and try to dispute anything here.

I signed up for the first month of leads paying the $299 through Paypal. Shortly after this I received a couple of emails from Bob asking for information I wanted posted in the ad (such as phone #) as well as what geographic area I wanted targeted. I replied to that and a couple of other emails and waited for the leads to start coming. The first month went by and no leads came but I did all of a sudden get charged for a 2nd month of service so I sent an email to Bob personally. Surprisingly, he called me within 5 minutes after I sent that. He apologized and stated that I must have "just slipped through the cracks".

I accepted his apology and we decided to move forward.in an email following that conversation I asked about the first month. Here is exactly what I wrote:

"Last thing is just regarding the $299 I paid last month. Obviously I didn't wind up getting anything. What's the easiest way to handle that? By the way, thank you for the very quick responses."

The response from Bob?:
"I can refund you, or post you mega ads and send you mega leads, your choice"

And my reply?:
"Best bet will be a refund. I won't have the time to keep up with too many leads. Thanks again."

Keep in mind that what I just posted was copy and pasted from emails between myself and Bob so it is word for word. Those emails were from 3/21/08 and 2/22/08.

I then got my first batch of 40 leads 2 day later. I was reading through them and one thing was blatantly obvious... These were leads from people that had answered a completely different ad! In other words, he sent me recycled leads.

I then received 5 more emails with leads in the following quantities: 25,30, 25,30 and 20. The last batch arrived on 4/12/08. Now if we do the math, that is 130 new leads (170 if we add in the recycled ones) sent to me from Bob Warren and the Arcaro Group. That obviously fell way short of what I was paying for! On top of that, they were in NO WAY geographically targeted to a specific region.

Wait, it gets better because 9 days later they charge my card for another $299! I NEVER received another batch of leads from The Arcaro Group after 4/12/08. I spoke to Bob and he said that he was processing a bunch of refunds and that within 2 weeks I would get mine. Of course that didn't happen either. I called him and he said to email him which I did. I again got no response from him or anyone else who works with The Arcaro Group (Jan Barnes and Joe Soto are 2 people involved). I called him again 3 days after having sent the email and he proceeded to start cursing because I was disturbing his vacation.

I disputed stuff with Paypal but they were no help. I also disputed with my bank which refunded me 2 of the 3 charges but it was beyond the time limit for the first one. Despite that being done with my bank within the 60 day statute of limitations, Paypal has decided to go ahead and charge me back for those 2 charges stating that it was outside of their 45 day SOL.

So now, thanks to The Arcaro Group, Tag Leads and Bob Warren I am still dealing with this because this guy has absolutely no integrity. Anyone who would like to help me with legal action in CA I'd be happy to bring a suit against Bob Warren and his businesses. There are also other individuals with very similar experiences around the same time who would be happy to document their experiences.
