Bogus Magazine Launch and Many People Affected - Does Not Pay Hobart Indiana

We wre contacted by this smooth talking individual on September 2nd 2008 and he wanted to order promotional products for his upcoming Magazine launch. This was supposidly a HUGE magazine with 2.5 million subscribers, and I even received a National Advertising kit from him. This all seemed legit, and he ended up ordering over $4.3 million dollars in promotional products. Everything was fine until it came to the money, and even though we did not produce the entire order, he was so smooth, we acyually started getting proofs and such for him and even produced a small amount of the order, being that he said he had a launch date of Oct 1st.

After many calls, he stated money would be wired, and that they had to go through lot's of red tape, however the order was 100% and even asked me to place it. I started getting suspicious and did some research on him. I found this site "complaint:, and that he had a few complaints on here. I then called both the local and federal authorities on this guy, and they knew right away who he was. After researching more, I found he owns and tries to operate several businesses and that he also uses different names. After calling ALL involved in this project, I also found that No ONE has been paid, and even the authorities told me that this was 100% BOGUS.

We are out about $50,000 on this, and there are many more poeple out there STILL working for him. I want to be sure all of these people are notified of this individual, and if you have been contacted by INFLUENCE MAGAZINE, INFLUENCE RECORDS, WEB-PRESENCE or any of the other companies owned or operated by JIM D. RAY, to please notify the authorities. I have been informed that this individual is very, very brilliant, and he sounds for real. He even rented a VIRTUAL OFIICE in Beverly Hills, which has not nbeen paid, and he currently has people setting up meetings with people for advertising in his magazine. No one will be paid, and this is 100% bogus. This man must be stopped. Very recently, I have found that he is opening up a company that does Insurance-based Umbilical Stem Cell Storage. This is very scary!
