I also tried People PC's free trial and called and cancelled prior to free trial expiration (or so I thought). Several months later I have charges show up on my bank statement. The only thing I know to do is go to my bank and change account numbers on checking, savings, and debit/credit cards.
It's a lot of hassle but will be worth it not to let this company have access to my account anymore. Mark it as a lesson learned and always checked a company out through websites like this before dealing with them.
