Aol
Credit card fraud rip-off thieves consume

Internet & Web

Looks like AOL systematically charges credit card numbers they have in their posession, no matter if they have the right to do it or not. Probably in many cases the victims don't even dispute it - a lot of people don't review their bills.

This is like as if a thieve tries to steal something and if someone sees it, he can still say: "Oh, I am really sorry it was a terrible mistake." With so many cases I personnally don't believe that they are doing this "by accident"

I cancelled my AOL service on 10/12/02. On 10/14/02 I received a letter confirming the cancellation and in December my credit card was charged another $ 24,50 after I had not used AOL for almost 2 months.
