Will steal your money and NOT cancel your account when asked to!

This company is absolutely a scam. Firstly, they won't let you view their "special" prices until you login to their website, which requires that you sign up with a free account! Yes. Free, but they still require a credit card and if you don't cancel by calling them within the 7 days, you're charged $50.00 a month (at time of this writing). I signed up, viewed all their products and Doug was absolutely right in his original complaint, when he stated that the company does not offer any value.

Does Doba work? Can you really make money on Ebay?

I was finding products cheaper on froogle.com and I was definitely finding all like (and I do mean identical) products on Ebay were less expensive. I spent nearly a whole weekend going through all of the categories and comparing too. I then sent an email that I wanted to cancel. I didn't hear anything back. I was suspect, so I called. They said they would cancel and did NOT! Apparently, their TOS agreement requires that you call. If you email, they don't bother with a reply email telling you this, so beware of emailing. Your letter will get filed in a big round bucket. I was NOT given a confirmation number (my mistake to not insist!) but didn't think anything more of it. A few months later, I noticed the charges were still coming out of my bank account! They had scammed me good. I called again to insist that the account be cancelled. I know this happens a lot because you could hear the support rep's smile as he told me he would cancel the account and was nearly doing it before I was done with my sentence! He was also quick to inform me, "Well you're problem is that you already agreed to our Terms of Service so there's nothing you can do". Seriously. Did he really just tell me that? But again. No confirmation number. I had to ask outright, "How do I know this gets done? I've done this before and it didn't happen. Isn't there a confirmation number?!" He then said, "I can give you one if you like". If I like?!! Why wouldn't I like?! This would have allowed me to collect the money they stole from me for the last few months. I should have been more thorough in investigating my savings account, so that fault was mine. Live and learn. But I didn't expect Doba to steal money outright from me.

BOTTOM LINE: SHREWD, UNEHTICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES and no value in the products they offer. Don't let the slick website fool you!

FINAL THOUGHT: If they really could save you money and offer you such great deals, why do they require you to sign up (WITH a credit card) to see their prices first?
