Unauthorized Charge Charged $69.99 on 7/23 for unkown reason. Last purchase 2005

An unauthorized charge of $69.99 appeared on my credit card on 7/23. My last and only purchase was in 2005. I attempted to contact their "customer service" department only to reach a recording stating to leave a message and my call would be returned. Yeah, right!!!

I faxed them as well so I would have confirmation of my attempt to contact them.

I called my credit card company (I check my credit card on line on a daily basis) and explained what was happening and initiated the dispute process.

I also emailed the Attorney General's office in Connecticut (where I reside).
I would suggest everyone else do the same.

I didn't think that they could keep your credit card info anyways.in researching other consumer complaint sites I found many, many other people who have fallen victim to having been billed on their credit cards as well. Same stories as mine.

Enough already with being victimized. If you are one of these people who have the same situation whether with this or another company, get legal. The internet makes things so much easier for shopping, etc., but there are so many unscrupulous people out there, you have to be pro-active in keeping yourself safe. Check all your accounts on line on daily basis. Do not wait until you receive your statements.
