Keystrokes4Cash, Tancor Learning Center
Bait and Switch

Internet & Web

An individual named Jerry Morrison called me at my home several times. The first time was at 1803 hrs on 4 March, again at 1821 on 5 March, again at 1826 on 5 March and again at 2021 on 5 March. Please note that my home phone number is on the national "Do Not Call" Registry and at no time did I give any employee of Tancor Learning Center permission to call me.

Shortly before these calls were placed to my home phone number, I had signed up for "Keystrokes4cash" home internet business program. They strung me along little by little, telling me at first that the only cost to me was a $39.95 web hosting fee charged monthly to my credit card. This web hosting fee was necessary to create and build a website with which I was to run a business.

Mr. Morrison had asked me if I was interested in starting an on-line business. I told him that I had visited a website called "Keystrokes4cash" and was doing business with a company known as "Global Cash Flow Network" based out of Tempe, Arizona. Mr. Morrison then told me that if I wanted to start an on-line business, it was going to cost me $1,980 for coaching and training materials.

I mistakenly thought that Tancor Learning Center was somehow related to Global Cash Flow Network and agreed. On Monday, March 10th, I spoke with an employee of Global Cash Flow Network named Matthew Cowie. I had told him what had happened regarding Tancor Learning Center and he informed me that he had never heard of them.

I immediately sent an e-mail to Tancor Learning Center requesting that my enrollment be cancelled. Please note that my enrollment agreement states that I had "3 days" to cancel the enrollment and get a refund, minus a 5% cancellation fee. Since I had requested a full refund within 3 business days (the agreement does not specify whether it is 3 business or calendar days), I feel I am entitled to a refund of this money.

Furthermore, I feel that Tancor Learning Center violated Federal Law on four counts by calling me on my home phone number which is registered with the Federal Communication Commissions "Do Not Call" Registry. Tancor Learning Center would have you believe that at some point, I gave Keystrokes4Cash permission to give out my home phone number in their so-called "Privacy Policy". I am yet to see either an electronic or paper version of said policy.

When I called Mr. Tanner (owner of Tancor Learning Center) in an attempt to explain what happened, he gave me a sales pitch. Another phone call placed on the 13th of March in an attempt to ascertain how Tancor Learning Center had gotten my home phone number went unanswered. I also attempted to call their (251) 621-2505 twice last Friday and got a recording.
