Bluebottle advetises a spam free email service yet: they do not automatically block spam that is even addressed to a legitimate email address on bluebottle.com.

So daily, as a paying subscriber, I have to wade through a pending file and select each offending spam (average 50 per day) to be placed on a blocked list. While this may work for one time offenders, there are big time sales and phishing spammers that send out the same spam daily with pseudo addressing schemes that are not on the blocked list. Thus a subscriber has to do it over and over again. Daily. The sad thing is that the spam is not even addressed to the subscriber... Yet bluebottle places in the pending file. While that is a nuisance, it is a burden and one that should be done by a sophisticated fee for service email service. All unidentifiable emails are placed inot all subscriber peninding boxes it appears, transferring the burden of address reconciliation on to the subscriber. Thus, Bluebottle is selling email services under false assertions of spam blocking.

In summary, Bluebottle is implemented in a half-ass fashion... Forcing the subscriber to do his/her own selection of nuisance emails. Whereas, that would be ok if it was free. It is now a paid subscription service and their software implementation remains "half-assed."

I guess that old adage about Aussies is true: If they are so smart, then why do they have to put "open other end" on the bottom of their beer bottles? Seems to be a fair criticism.
