FREE SITE ALLIANCE / Freemacbookpro.com
Free Site Alliance promises free merchandise for following requirements, then they scam you. Chicag Illinois

Internet & Web

Free Site Alliance, a company out of Chicago, Illinois, promises you free merchandise for participating in their website. They push new consumers into offers for third party companies, like Blockbuster, Netflix, Discover and others, and promise a free gift for your participation and completion of program requirements.

FreeMacBookPro.com is one of these many sites that Free Site Alliance runs. Very simply they promise, if you try one offer, in my case it was Blockbuster Video Rentals, and then refer 20 other people to do the same (i referred 34 others), you are awarded a free Apple Macbook Pro Laptop.

Problem is, they are getting compensated to push new customers into these websites with a elaborate offer of a free laptop, but they are NOT responding to customer inquiries or complaints, nor providing the free laptop. The website is continuing to operate in the fashion of providing just enough information to keep the participant interested (a personal account page shows the list of your referrals), but the support side of the website is dead. I have sent around 15 inquiries over the last 3 months, to be completely ignored.

I contacted Blockbuster Video who could not verify Free Site Alliance as a third party partner.

The Better Business Bureau has limited information regarding the business. They do not have a physical address, just an I.P. Address.

Network Solutions "whois" shows a private registration on all their websites, thus concealing their identity.

FREE SITE ALLIANCE is using it's participants to provide them compensation for using third party products, then providing the participant nothing in return.

AVOID at all costs.
