Horrible feeling Let's see what happens

Like many other people, I saw this website listed as #1 and could be trusted. I purchased the 3 -years membership today and canceled today. I too was disappointed by the lack of information and wrong information.

When I asked to be refunded, per the 90-day money back guarantee, customer service sent me an email (same day) containing a link to the "refund form". I filled this out and sent it. (same day).

I also notified the bank of the situation and the fear that more money would be taken and/or the refund would not occur. The bank was great, said they would dispute the fee if the refund was not given within 5 days, and no other charges would occur.

I emailed net detective with the following message:

I am still waiting for a reply to the 90-day money back guarantee. I have sent off my papers. If I do not see the refund by Wednesday, June 18, the bank has already stated that charges will be disputed, credit card will be destroyed, and further actions as necessary.

Within minutes, this is the response:

A refund has been submitted. If the charge was actually deducted from your account, a refund will be processed and it normally takes 5 to 7 business days for this credit to be applied back to your account. If this was just an authorization (pending charge), this refund will void that charge and nothing will be deducted from your account.

I decided to write because I saw the concerns and frustrations of so many people. I do not know if I will get my money back... But I will let you know. I am hoping that this is just a bad website, yet still honest enough to return money with so many complaints.

I will let you know if and when I hear anything.
