New Sub Services
AKA Synapse Group, Inc. Unauthorized renewal of Prevention magazine ripoff abused & mistreated ripoff

Internet & Web

I received a free, 1-year subscription to "Prevention" magazine which does not expire until January. An UNAUTHORIZED renewal to this subscription appeared on my VISA statement in October. The frustration is you CANNOT talk to a live person via their toll-free numbers. After a 20 minute process to cancel this renewal, I was given a confirmation code 675151? Either "B" or "D"... I had it repeated 4 times and still could not discern what letter it was.

Two things really honk me off about this procedure:

1.) It's illegal!
2.) You cannot talk to a live person, so you really have to wait at least a month to see if they indeed do credit your account.
