Illegal Scam Artists Who Rip You Off Be Careful

I signed up on Intellius.com to track a phone number a one-time fee and apparently this Privacymatters.com website is linked to that web site. They took my credit card information and without my permission was charging $14.95 on my card for several months. When I became aware of the situation, I contacted their customer service number that was provided by my bank (1-800-436-0817 and 1-888-840-6301). They were quick to remove the last charge of the $14.95. However, I told them I was unaware of what the company did and they told me that they got my information from Intellius and that I signed up for their company. This is a complete lie!!! I never approved their charges nor did I sign up for their services. After telling them that and confronting them with charging my account without my permission, they would not refund the rest of the money stating that it was my fault because I should have checked my account earlier and then they could have fixed the matter. The charges started in October and I didn't catch on until February. Therfore they still have $45.00 of my money. Granted $45.00 isn't alot of money. However, I am concerned that they have my account information and may I add without my permission. They also I am sure have been scamming lots of other individuals out there. Beware of intellius.com and making purchases on that web site, privacymatters.com steals your credit card information illegally and then begins stealing your money!!!
