Mahibay
Mahibay presents themselves as being a dropship source, they are not. Mahibay sets you up with a rebate website - most rebates are 3-15%. Very difficult to find one higher

Internet & Web

In the Fall of 2006 I was selling items on Ebay, learning the business. One thing I was looking for was a drop shipper. A drop shipper is a company who you can list their products on ebay to sell or on your own personal website. When the product sells you notify the company as to where the product is to be sent. You pay wholesale for the product plus the shipping costs. The difference between the sum of the wholesale and the shipping costs and what you charged for the product is your profit.

Most drop shippers will ship the products sold in a box that does not identify them, so the client can not go back to them for future purchases. This helps to encourage the clients to come back to me for future purchases. The challenge is to find drop shippers who prices are set low enough that you can be competitive in the Ebay, internet arena.

In September/ October I was approached by Mahibay. They claimed to be a drop ship website. They carried name brand products such as Rolex, Sony, Oakley, Pioneer, Dell, Nike, Samsung, Tommy Hilfiger to name just a few.in their words they advertise:

Our Top Website Owners are making $140,000 per month!

If you want to make HUGE money with an online business, then listen up. Up until now, making money online has been reserved for those who already had the business know how. Now you can get your piece of the action with your own Drop Ship Website! Make up to 80% profits without carrying any inventory!

When I spoke to a Brenda Fox at Mahibay she told me there was over 70 million products I would have access to with 12,000 major national companies. All the products would be 30-40% below wholesale. I was told for $5,000 I would get my own custom website and access to all these products. Plus I would receive direction from 2 experts with eBay that was Brandon Boyd and Josh Lee. It sounded like it was everything I needed to be successful on eBay so I signed on at a cost of $5,000.

It took approximately 2 months to even see my website. I was very surprised not to have access to drop shippers.instead I had a rebate website. After purchasing items, I would then get a rebate back. This was not what they advertise nor was it what Brenda Fox told me I would be receiving.

Brandon and Josh assured me they would work with me and teach me the process to become successful with the new website.in the beginning, both men seemed very nice. One of the ways that Josh told me I could promote my website was to do affiliate marketing. I saw this as being positive because I could benefit churches, schools, not for profit organizations with fund raising.

This is Josh's words on Affiliate marketing.

"Affiliate marketing is where you get other individuals or groups to drive traffic to your site in exchange for a portion of the profits that come from that traffic. For example, you can set up a church as an affiliate of your site and we would create what is called an affiliate landing page for them that would look like this: Churchname. Papasplaceonline.com. (My web site was papasplaceonline.com)

On that landing page, we would put the logo/name of the church and maybe a paragraph or two as an introduction/explanation of how the program works. That church would then be able to refer their members to their landing page (churchname. Papasplaceonline.com) and their members would be able to sign up directly through that landing page.

Once their member has registered an account, they can simply to www.papasplaceonline.com and shop as a normal member and a portion of all their purchases would be donated directly to that church. Our technology makes it so that neither you nor the members have to track anything. Each member will be automatically tracked so that the church gets the credit even though they only went to the church's land page once.

You can go through that same process for any type of organization, whether it is a corporation, a school, a charity or a church, etc.

Let me know if you have any other questions."

This idea resonated with me because I know schools, churches and other organization are always looking for additional funds and I could really benefit them. The members of the particular organization could save money and the organization would earn an income. It was a win/win for everyone concerned.

I was able to get 2 Affiliates. One was for a hospice organization, the other gave dental work to kids who couldn't afford dental care. After a few months of having my information, an affiiliate web page was never set up and Josh Lee would not return any of my phone calls.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and Brandon's response was Mahibay does not give refunds and they would be happy to work with me. They already lost me 2 accounts because of their lack of response and now they want to work with me!
