Bank Wire Transfer Scam

Purchased an item on ebay from seller astaeviataba@yahoo.com (Celambito). The contact name was listed as Michael Rivera from San Leandro.

After the purchase I was contacted be e-mail from BlueFan Cargo to wire transfer the amount to Maria Cari Michie. Once the transfer was verified the item would be released and arrive in approx. 3 days.

I checked the status of the package a few days later and the web site was no longer accessible. Several attempts made to contact the cargo company and the seller of the item. No calls were answered and no messages returned.

The Web site of blueFan Cargo looked very legitimate. It had links to tracking information as well as forms for shipping. I contacted the cargo company at the Chicago nuber prior to the transaction. The representative answered the phone and gave me the phone number to the San Leandro office. Everything appeared to be Legitimate. Do not do business with this company!
