Mate 1 Intimate Dating
(aka Scamming) Solicited to join and then 'hit on' by "Ambassador"

About a week ago, I got an unsolicited invitation to join Mate. 1 Intimate Dating from a "Mary44", whoever that is. Since "Mary44" sent this to an address I use to bait online scammers, I played along. I signed up under my nom de guerre used on that email address.

This morning, I got a "Just Friends" email solicitation from one of their "ambassadors". I saw that in order to reply, I had to join for a minimum of 3 days (for "only" $1.95, with a $2.95 service charge. Lol). When I saw that, I went online to look into this outfit... And found the complaint complaint on them.

I may be in their target audience (single, middle aged male), but I (try to) reserve my stupid for when it provides laughs with friends. I endorse Heather's complaint, top to bottom.
