Will not grant a return

On August 1 I ordered online a gown from Christina Gowns. The dress arrived on August 8. I tried the dress on and it did not fit. Shortley after the dress arrived I was sent on assignment for the Air Force. Just before I left I emailed Christina Gowns and let them know that I had mailed off my dress.

When I returned from my ssignment an email was sent my Christina Gowns with a required Return Authorization number. Since I did not have internet access while on assignment I did not receive this email until after I returned on August 21. The email from Christina Gowns also asked if I was able to follow the directions that were sent in the email. I emailed Christina Gowns that I had mailed off the package before I received their email.

A week later I received an email from Christina Gowns saying that they had sent an email to me in enough time for me to follow directions. There is no question about this. My complaint is that if I was sent on assignment with no internet access, how can I be expected to gain the RA number to put on the return.

I was also told that I put the wrong address on my return and that my gown was no longer eligible for a refund. I do not feel that I should keep a gown that does not fit, when I did return the gown in the required timeframe.
