Internet Speedway
Number of promised website hits scam Ripoff Wylie Texas

Internet & Web

I purchased a $1500.00 Silver Site. I was promised 24,000 hits a year. That sound reasonable. I have been in the print media industry for years. You generally can expect 1-3 % return.

So far I have had 1700 hits in 6 weeks. Wow, that's good! Not good. These are not third party hits from customers coming to my site. Their own statistics show me that all the hits are coming to me from their URL and their domain. Now it does take a rocket scientist to figure out that the hits are indeed hits, but very deceptive and maybe fraudulent because one naturally expects and assumes the hits to be from third parties, NOT generated from either an automated call center or a list passed around to hit my site so many times a day from within Internet Speedway.

So 1700 hits and not one sale. That is very suspicious. All the link are working, the merchant account is working. You would think if the hits are legitimate you would at least get one crazy person to buy something. When I called and talked to a guy in sales about it and how strange it was he jumped down my throat and quickly dumped me off on the help center. No explanation just told me in no uncertain terms I was full of it. No help their either. That's my story.

If I can get 200 or so people with this same kind of complaint or worse I would be pleased to hunt down an attorney for a class action, comtigecy based, fraudulent misrepresentation case.
