I did a credit report, Thay got my bank account number and i'm on fixed income it cost me 26.00 because it went into overdrift

I'm on fixed income and the $1.00 wasent in the bank. So the bank covered the check but charged me the overdrift fee of $25.00. I dont really no how thay got my account number uther than a credit report.
