Steal your stuff, don't pay for anything, now out of business mailed dvd's, got approved, waited for monies, lost contact, no payment, been 6 months ripoff

On 01/03 I put in a order with uzed.com to send them some dvds for payment online. I made sure to read their policies before I put in the order. After sending this company 60 used dvd's on 01/03 they promised a payment to me through paypal 10 business days after accepting the shipment.

The quoted price was $160 after shipment is recieved. Their policy states that they will check over the order and make adjustments to money they will give me. I got an order confirmation over email and I sent out the shipment to their PA office like they requested. I have a shipping confirmation that they recieved and signed for my package on Jan 8.

Then I lost all communication three business days later with them on what is the status of my order and when I will recieve my money over paypal. I also have insurance for up to $150 through the post office. Everything was followed perfectly on my part and I am not sure if this is even a true company or if they just steal your products and don't give you payment like they promise.

On 02/15/07 they updated my account and admitted to accepting my shippment. I then waited 10 business days for them to give me the price of the order, like their policy states. I didn't recieve the payment as of today (7/17/07) and I tried calling and emailing everyday since 2 weeks ago. They refuse to answer the phones and answer emails. There has been many other compliants like mine, which really scares me as the consumer. I have tried to email every email address on the site and called many times and left a lot of messages to an answering machine that never probably exists. I have been waiting and I feel used as a consumer. I have run out of options to get my payments and I don't know what else to do. I feel like I have been stolen from and lied to.

I still have not received my payment for my order. I have continued to call and email the business to see if I can work something out, but I can't reach them. I have also now noticed that the website (www.uzed.com) has a temporary closed notice on the homepage. You can't even get to your account anymore or contact information for the business. I am very frustrated with this company and I just want my money. They stole my products and made this process very difficult for me. If this company is in a temporary close, I hope they don't continue business after this fix.
