Ripoff Internet Investment Scam

On February 8, my Wife and I, along with a Sister-in-Law and many others attended a meeting in Chicago to gather information about an internet investment known as 24hre.com

The President of this new company informed those attending that he would offer a chance for all to invest in this new internet venure.

We were told that any and all investment monies would accrue at 7% and, that we could accept full repayment or shares of this company. Our investment was $400.00 plus interest or 404 shares. The full amount of this investment or loan in the form of a Promissary Note was due on February 8.

To date we have not received the initial investment, accrued interest or shares. We have employed the services of the Illinois States Attorneys' Office, Consumer Affairs Division and the Better Business Buruea of Illinois. Neither organization has been able to locate the owners of 24hre.com, JR Meyers or Karen Meyers.
