Liars - lied to me, sold me a lemon, refused to correct their error, still refusing to fix the lemon. Possibly bait and switch and definitely false advertising. California

I purchased a professional printer from HP, a Designjet 130, this is not a toy, but an expensive ($ 1,299.00) printer for professional use.

I called HP pre-sale to make sure the printer was capable of doing what I wanted, I used Epson as an example, I need pigmented inks and the ability to print black and white only. HP said their printer did that, so I purchased it.

When the printer was delivered, I noted that it did not do any of that, printed magenta and green at the same time when I selected "gray only" and was told by HP when I complained that the printer DID NOT print black only, but printed some color underneath to make it "richer" in tone.

I was also told that no one could have told me it printed with PIGMENT black since HP did not make such a printer.

This being the second or third day after delivery, I asked HP to take the printer back and refund my money or send me a printer that did what I asked. They REFUSED, blaming the problem on printheads and said I had to replace the black.

This went on for over a year, at which time my warranty went out and I'm not stuck with this lemon that not only is not what I need, but destroys printheads on a continual basis and HP still refuses to replace them or the printer.

This is reminiscent of the man who killed his parents then threw himself on the mercy of the court because he was an orphan, sell a product, play the sucker along until the warranty of off, then drop him for that reason.

I consider this a combination of false advertising for the false presale info I was given, or possibly even bait and switch if there existed a printer capable of what I need and I was sold another model. Fraud at the very least.
