Overnight Genius
Couldnt access customer service website or get through on phone untill after trial period ended. They charged my account 78.41 causing havoc with my bank account

I ordered a trial of an ebay course from overnight genius. I got it and it would not work. I tried to call them and could not get through. I tried thier customer service email address and could only get the page cannot be displayed please try again later. This went on for about 8 or 9 days. Then they charged my account 78.41, causing bounced checks on my account.

I finally was able to get through to them today, and was told my trial was over and i could not get a refund, even though the program never worked. I tried to tell him i had been tring to contact them and he said if i had tried i would have gotten through, that nothing was wrong with their phone or website. I told him i did try, and he said again i could not have tried or i would have gotten through, basically calling me a liar.

When i asked to speak to a supervisor, he first told me none was available and then when i pressed the issue he told me it was not going to happen. He was a very rude man named mark. He said he would have a supervisor call me at a later time. When i asked for the name of the supervisor he would only give me a first name, saying they were not comfortable giving out last names.

I told him most thieves werent comfortable giving out their full names and i asked him if they prevented everyone from contacting them untill the trial period was over. He said nothing was black or white, that their were a lot of grey areas. They are ripping people off and it needs to stop.

I am a poor woman and have been unemployed due to health for 3 years, only recently starting to work again. The 78.41 they charged me, and the bounce fee of 25$ the bank had to charge me may not seem like a lot of money, but it has hurt me badly. Now i am stuck with all the fees and a computer course that is worthless.

Please, anyone else that has been ripped off by this company file a report. I am also filing a report with the better business bureau, the prosecuting attorney of boulder colorado, and the attorney general of colorado.

I urge everone out there who has an issue with this company to do the same thing. Lets stop them before they rip off anyone else
